Barbara Cominelli

Barbara has more than 25 years of managerial experience in multiple roles – CEO, CDO, CMO, COO, leading large teams with more than 3000 people in Italy and abroad in various industries. Passionate about digital, innovation, inclusion and sustainability, she has a strong track record in executing successful digital and business transformation programs, both in tech and traditional sectors. Currently she is the CEO of JLL in Italy, a Fortune 500 and the second largest real estate services and investment management firm in the world. She joined JLL in December 2020, with the objective of accelerating its growth and supporting the re-imagination of the entire industry, enabling the green and digital revolution, embracing a new way of working and living. Previously Barbara held the role of COO, Marketing and Operations Director of Microsoft Italy. From 2010 to 2018 she served as a Member of the Global Senior Leadership team of Vodafone and the Director of Digital, Commercial Operations and Wholesale for Vodafone Italy. From 2003 to 2010 she was Director of Strategy, Planning, Marketing and Institutional Relationships in Tenaris Dalmine (TEN.MI). Before that she was Manager in the Strategic Consulting Firm A.T.Kearney in London and Milan, Venture Capitalist in a Luxembourg based Venture Capital Firm and Assistant Professor in Bocconi University. She is a NED and Member of the Strategy and Sustainability Commitee in Autogrill Spa. Graduated Summa Cum Laude in Business Administration and with a Master in International Business at Bocconi University, she has been included twice in the “Top 50 most inspirational women in technology in Europe”, she’s been awarded among the Top Italian CEOs by Forbes in 2021 and she has been included in the list of Fortune Businessperson of the year 2020 in Italy. She is a tireless ambassador of D&I, she is involved in several no profit initiatives with a focus on women in STEM and young women empowerment.
