Ruxandra Iancu Bratosin is an urban and computational researcher focused on scenario planning and analysis in the built environment. She is also an educator at IE University, and the Lead Researcher at the IE Center for Sustainable Cities.
Ruxandra’s work combines ecological design processes, futures thinking, data visualisation, digital logic, cities, foresight, and strategy.
Ruxandra co-founded 50(Super(Real)), a dynamic studio specialising in multi-scalar spatial strategies to create a harmonious marriage between human values and technological innovation. Her research explores the interplay between ecology, social impact, and the design process to develop innovative, future proof solutions.
Ruxandra’s groundbreaking work has been exhibited at prestigious international events, including the Venice Architecture Biennale of 2016, the Rotterdam Design Biennale of 2017, and the London Design Biennale of 2021. Her contributions to the field have also been featured in several publications, including books with a digital ecology focus.
